We have a male dog named Louie. We got Louie when he was 6 weeks old and he is now 14.5 weeks old weighing in at 25 to 27 LBS..... When we got him we were told he was a doberman/dalmatian mix. When we took him to the vet she said she doesn't see any dalmatian or doberman in him, she sees a pointer/terrier mix. He is starting to look like a pitbull and I do believe he has pointer in him and a touch of Doberman because the dad was a doberman (so we were told). If anyone has any ideas as to what he could be it would be appreciated. I would like to get an idea so I know how to properly train him feed him etc...... We are prob going to do a DNA test to find out..... The pics of him are below, thank you for your time louie2.jpg

he's still very young - but that pattern looks like "ticking" to me, not dalmatian spots.

if anything, he looks like he's part german short-haired pointer.

He looks like a whole lot of 'mutt'. He is adorable looking! His name is just perfect too.

Yes his spots are ticking, they are just starting too Yea he doesn't look like a dalmatian (at least any more). We were thinking a German short haired pointer/pitbull mix. He is extremely smart for as young as he is. Yea we have the nickname "supermutt" for him lol that is funny you said that. So we are just curious as to what he is (well more me).......
