Unanswered: Please help me identify my dog breed.
Please help me identify my dog's breed. I think it's a Labrador. But I'm not sure which breed it is.
Any guess or hint would be greatly appreciated! Please see the picture.

Please take a look at the forum rules - they explain why we cannot answer questions like yours when a pup is so young.
Whatever he grows up to be I am sure he will be gorgeous

He's way to young for us to even begin guessing what he is..BTW, how old is the little guy? he doesn't even look old enough to be away from his mom yet.

Thanks. I also think he's a (mix of) lab. I guess I'll have to wait until he's grows enough!

1 month is way too young to be away from it's mommy. I would take it back where you got it and pick it back up when it is 11 weeks old. That is the appropriate time that it should leave it's mom. 1 month isn't enough time for it to be weaned yet.

totally agree - if you take a pup (or kitten, for that matter) away from the mother too soon, you're opening up for a world of trouble because the fundamental basics of species communication aren't being learned from teh mother.
that's how you end up with dogs attacking out of fear when another dog invites them to play with a perfectly proper prance and play-bow routine; that's how you end up with a male dog being torn open because he didn't get the message that the other dog is simply not interested.
and of course there's the artificial weaning - left to themselves mother dogs and cats generally nurse *at least* 10 weeks. this is very important from an immunological and emotional health point of view.

You're probably right. I will return him to where is mother is and get him back again when he's 2 months old. I guess that will be the right time.

You scared me! But what you've mentioned look like the solid facts. So I'm not taking any chance. I will return him to his mother and get him back when he's 2 months old. Will that be the right time?
I think I won't be able to keep him there longer than that. Is 2 months old enough?
