Hiya all

i have 3 dalmatians 1 bitch pippy and 2 dogs taffy and boo, the bitch(pippy) which will do anything food, but after they are fed their meals she charges and attacks taffy. they are all fed in seperate rooms and we leave in the rooms for a while after finishing their food but still she goes fo my other dog.

she hasnt actally biten him but she gets right up close barks and shows her teeth. when she is doing this she will not respond to anyone or food.

the bitch (pippy) is let out after the other two (taffy and boo)when she has calmed down the bitch then doesn’t bark or charge but the other dog barks and runs away as if expecting it and has become aggressive and scared during the whole feeding time and growls during eating. Although this does work it would be nice to stop the male dog expecting the bitch to attack and be able to make the whole feeding process calmer for every one.

The bitch is top dog she is the oldest and been with us the longest and the others are submissive towards her. The bitch is always fed first and given treats first, majority of the time giving treats is fine but occasionally she goes for the others.

the aggression is between taffy and pipy boo mostly keeps out the way of it all and doesn’t get involved.

does anyone have any ideas of why she does this? and how to stop it
