Default Needed: Tips on Dog Stacking

I am not planning on entering a dog show in the near future. I will be joining in 2 to 3 years. However, I want to know how to properly stack a dog. I will be getting a new dog before Christmas. I want to try stacking on my new baby.

The breeder that you get your puppy from should be able to show you how to stack an adult of that breed. With the exception of a few breeds, stacking is more or less the same for all breeds in conformation shows. He/she should have started stacking your pup if it is a show prospect as that's how pups are judged as show quality or not.

After you get your pup, you should try to find some handling classes. They are usually found through your local all-breed kennel club, or sometimes handlers give private classes but the local kennel club people would know about those also. And, if you get in touch with the local dog clubs, you can find out about handling seminars being given locally by nationally famous dog handlers.
