dogs usually do this when they feel unbalanced and get mixed messages from you.First of all, you need to recognize what you have done to tell this dog that he is pack leader and not you..does he jump up, pull on the lead, when you go for walks does he go out the door before you, do you feed him table scraps, let him on your bed or couch without permission. Do you make him be calm and submissive or do you let him jump around excitedly when you are going to do something he wants to do (ie: feed time, walks, car rides)Calm submissive dogs with a strong confident leader are more well behaved, nicer to be around, and much happier then their erratic counterparts, and generally have less agression problems.Take a look at some of (the dog whisperer) Cesar Milans books and television shows, he can show you best how to help your doggy companion be relaxed, happy, and safe.
