My first response was to Let Nature Take Its Course. But 65 days is over due. If you can afford it, call the vet.

Call the vet just to be safe, especially since it is her first litter and the father is twice her weight. If there is a problem, the sooner it is addressed the better. I can't tell you how many times I've had to "revive" a dead puppy because the owners waited *days* after the labor began to consult us and we had to do an emergency c-section.

65 days is not late. Keep an eye on her to see if she is having trouble delivering. If th male is too much larger the female may need an emergency C-section. Wait a day or two more for signs of whelping. Don't panic. Don't upset the dog.
