About one day ago I let my dogs out in the backyard to use the restroom and I went back inside and fell asleep. There was a hole and he got out from there and I haven't seen him since. The other one is still here but the one I hang out with the most is gone and do you guys know how long it takes for them to get in the pound. I checked around my neighborhood and I don't see any dead dogs or signs of his body. I just want to find him so that I can get him microchipped so that next time he runs away I can track him down.Monday will be the 2nd full day that he's lost. I'm really worried about him.Has anyone else been through this? He has his collar on and it has the adress and everything but nobody gave him back. Could somebody have took his collar off and kept him for theirselves. He's very shy and he doesn't cooperate around other humans. So can anyone help me out with this problem. I just wanna find my dog. I seriously can't live without him.If I care for him and he's happy at home all the time do you think he'll try to find his way back if someone lets him free. The last time he ran away he came back in the next 2 hours but now it's been to long and i'm really worried.

He might just be scared and hiding somewhere. Try driving around looking for him and put up posters in public places with his picture so that others may be able to contact you if the see/find him. Contact animal control or any local shelters in your area and let them know he is lost and to keep an eye out in case he gets turned in. If he has a collar and is roaming around, someone is bound to pick him up. If your info is listed on his tags, most people will do the right thing and get intouch with you. Just make sure you make those calls....and check with vets in your area...they might know of some services that may be available to you to help get him back....or if he is injured, heaven forbid, or found...he could be there, too....good luck!
