Default Do show dogs really eat Pedigree and Eukanuba dog food?

I love to watch dog shows and they are usually sponsored by Eukanuba or Purina or some other commercial dog food. Personally, I like Solid Gold for my puppy because of the ingredients. I know that everyone has his/her own food preference. I just wonder if the show dogs are being fed food that my vet says isn't that great. The dogs at the shows have beautiful coats and seem healthy.

I think that some of them might! But definetely not all of them! Fish oil tablets also make dogs have really healthy shiny skin and coats!

Probably not. Most show dog owner have very strict diets for their dogs, and cook them food.

I would think not. They would definitely check the ingredients before giving their dogs anything. After checking the ingredients of those foods mentioned I would say a big fat NO.

No. My dog was on the Portland Eukanuba show on Animal Planet two years in a row. He was a top dog in his breed for two years running (he is semi-retired to just being a dog now) and finished last year as #3 with an all-breed best in show. We had two invitations to the BIG Eukanuba show last year.My dogs to not eat that..um.... stuff.
