If i was to have a ACA registered dog, would i be able to enter it in the AKC show or the local Emporia Kennel Dog show? I know that ACA dogs are purebred but do each club have different regulations? thanks in advanced!

Only AKC, CKC (Canadian Kennel Club -not Continental Kennel Club) and dogs registered with the FCI (such as Mexico, Kennel Club (UK), and EU dogs) may compete in the U.S. with AKC.

ACA is the American Canine Assoc & was started ( as were several others ) by puppy millers & byb's & do not assure pure bred status at all.

matter of fact being AKC registered doesn't guarantee anything either as many millers & byb's have AKC registered dogs. no dog may enter an AKC show unless it is registered with AKC

ALL of them are simply registries.
