If you are only interested in agility shows, no papers aren't necessary. Even mixed dogs can compete, although the purebreds are often better. But, if she entered a tournament that judges breeds, like Westminster (not sure if that is the Eukanuba tournament that you are talking about) then yes, she would need papers that register her as an AKC purebred and show her lineage.

Well my cousin has a dog and he is entered in dog show and I'm pretty that you need your paper so I recommend to get a copy or if you don't remember where or from who you got it from I'm pretty sure you can talk to the vet and he or she will probably get you them.

Most shows will accept dogs without papers but only after the dog has been spayed or neutered. They then classify the animal as a mixed breed or a full blooded * breed of dog* and allow your animal to enter. If you know where she came from and can find someone with papers then I would suggest doing that before you get into the show circuit. Of course the reason they want the animal altered is so that you cannot breed an animal without papers to prove its lineage. That way the breed is not diluted. I would look into your dogs history if you want to be able to breed later on. If not, have her altered and then move on to training and shows. If you want more information on your local shows policies I would ask some local dog clubs in your area. Most are associated with AKC and follow the rules set by them. Here's the AKC site. http://www.akc.org/Gl! Showing dogs is a great hobby

It depends. If you want to be involved with AKC you can get an ILP designation by sending in some $$, a short from and some photos and your dog must be spayed/neutered for this listing right.. Find out more on www.akc.org. Eukanuba is AKC sanctioned so you'd mostly need AKC registration papers going back 3 generations so an ILP won't work. For all other agility venues and rally that is not AKC sanction you only need to register the dog wiht that organization but they do not care about the breed. Try www.docna.com or www.usdaa.com for starters.

No , you do not need papers to show your dog in agility unless it is AKC and you can get and ILP number then show in the AKC venue. There are other agility organizations such as NADAC, USDAA,DOGNA, CPE.

I think from the way you said it, you are talking about a conformation show which is what Westminister or the Eukanuba shows are about.

to enter an AKC sanctioned conformation show you need registration papers & the pedigree ( they are 2 different things ) & the dog may NOT be neutered.

for the ILP they MUST be neutered

Yes there is agility offered during the Eukanuba show. It is the Agility Nationals. If you have a purebred dog you can go to the AKC website and get the information needed to apply for an ILP number. You can do agility with the ILP number if you do well in agility you stand a possiability of qualifying for Eukanuba. Spaying and neutering is part of the requirement for obtaining an ILP number.

For comformation, the dog must be a product of two AKC registered parents. And then to compete at Eukanuba your dog must be ranked in the top 25 dogs for it's breed, or be finished in the Bred By Exhibitor class. For Westminster the top 5 dogs of each breed are sent and invitation, then the remaining of the 2500 spots are offered to any Champion of record.
