It's coming up this Monday and Tuesday from 8-11pm. Will you be watching? I'll do what I always do, besides watching, and that is name the breed before the judge does.

what kind of show is this?

Westminster Dog Show is a well, dog show, that judges all sorts of breeds from the Non-sporting to the Working group. When they have a winner from each group they go to the Best in Show to see who the top dog will be for 2009.

I was just asking if anyone was going to watch it, since we all love dogs here!

This will be my 5th time at Westminster. I have no dogs entered this year but am going with a close friend. Keep your fingers crossed and root for Pippin and Scooter (Old English Sheepdogs)

At one time Westminster was by invitation only. I am 99.999% sure that is no long the case.

My male, Zephyr, his Grand Father on his Mother's side is the winningest
Chinese Shar Pei of all time at Westminster. His name is Andrew.

Sussex are so cute, so glad he won. Hopefully next year the Poodle will not be picked, it's always them! What about the Dal, or Chow, or Finnish Spitz, or any others!? Sheesh.
