Hello im Heather, 13 years old. I am currently showing in Junior Showmanship in Open Intermediate. I love getting all the information I can about how to present your dog, and what makes you stand out and be the best you can be. I hope to become a Professional Handler one day and am trying to learn all I can. I have shows coming up and would like to know if anyone has any tips for me?

I know this is an old post, but this can be for another junior handler as well, lol
My daughter currently shows, and for a junior you need to know your breed very well. She shows in UKC so I don't know about AKC.
Give lots of eye contact and smile.
Most of all have that winning attitude.
However you feel is how your dog is going to feel.
