I have recently inherited a 7 year old Irish wolfhound that I am interested in showing. I know he has shown twice in the past, once where his breeder was the handler where he won best of breed and the second where his former owner showed and he went around the ring once and then sat his ass down and refused to move.
He is basically a pet but I have two reasons for wanting to show him His gentics are fantastic and this came from his breeder so I think it is a shame not to show him and secondly (and from his point of view the most important) he is still a virgin and I would like that to change as I would ideally like to get one of his offspring.
Anybody got any ideas how to get him to show, not sit down but still have it fun for him??
Our first show is in three weeks so all help gratefully received
