[UnderDog]

I have started some of the dogs off on weight pulling (2 pointers, 1 bull mastiff cross and a boxer) and at the moment it is going well, I am only going to do it to get them toned up and stronger for a while but they do seem to enjoy it and I am only giving them little weights but my problem is the harness, at first I was told to buy the husky harnesses wich worked out well but the dogs seem bothered by them (they fitted perfectly as they were custom made though), so I changed to the Warners Cart Harness which put most of the weight onto the dogs neck so I stopped that, tried a regular harness and again it put too much weight on certain points on the different dogs then I tried the proper weight pulling harnesses and plain hated them as did the dogs so I am at a loss. The OH used to be a leather worker and hand made saddles, bridles, cart harnesses etc for horses so he said if he can get a design he will make it if need be. I just cant seem to get the design right, any ideas?
