Default Cooling & Heating Dog Crate Pads - Zentek Crate Pads

Reduced: 99% of original size [ 450 x 200 ] - Click to view full image

COOLING CRATE PAD. HEATING CRATE PAD - ZENTEK PADS DO IT BOTH!
GREAT FOR AGILITY, FLYBALL, DISC DOG and CONFORMATION SHOWS! Great for travel with your pet or for eldery dogs.

Mighty Mite Dog Gear is going to be an official dealer of Zentek crate pads! These pads are made of the same amazing fabric as the zentek coats everyone is raving about! We will be stocking 200 and 300 crate pad sizes (there are no 100s available from the manufcaturer but I am assured that they can be folded in half to conform to 100 crate sizes). We will stock all colors!

Zentek pads are made from Comfortemp® fabric, which keeps the body cool when it's hot outside and warm when it's cold. For the first time Phase Change Material from Compfortemp® is available in a crate pad. So no more wet dog beds, leaking gels, heavy pads! Smooth fabric is great for breed dogs, weather resitance is great for performance dogs! Ripstop linning, and "fuzz resistant" - will not pick up pet hair! Also the crate pads are guaranteed not to collect hair.( That category would be: dump it on the floor and vacuum) One side of the crate pad is a coated ripstop-- The mesh nylon lining does not collect hair also. And you can use either side of the pad. The Comfortemp is next to the mesh side, and there is a layer of fleece just for a little softness

So excited to be carrying them!!! Should be available before Sept 1st!

Visit Mighty Mite Dog Gear for more info on the pads - info will be up SOON!

My Border Collie Bailey is a senior and really feels the heat. How are they cooled and could you just place them wherever the dog lays down? I don't use crates.

My little shorty JRT would appreciate one that heats. She's always cold in the winter and sleeps under the duvet.

If you aren't using a crate, you can simply lay the mat on the ground or put it ontop of your dog's bed like a sheet. The technology behind the pad is now uploaded onto my website so you can get more of a background on how the special fabric works:

Sounds interesting. How big of a mat would I need for a border collie? Also, suppose my little JRT decides to chew up her mat. Is whatever heats and cools the mats toxic?

I am interested also---I checked out the site and had a few questions but was waiting to see more when they become available. But will ask now--I am wondering about the sizes also--I need to know the length and width in inches-please!! and the prices and the shipping costs---I am not about to have to enter an order in able to find out it is going to be too much for handling and postage (After the Fact!) And that is another good question, Lara's Mom, about the toxicity! I do like the idea of it--My 2 dogs have a lot of hair (cocker spaniels) and need the coolness in the hot days. Lol, also sounds great for the cold winters too, esp. since I keep my thermostat at 58 degrees to save on heating costs!

My dogs aren't crated either. They just prefer to lay on me, or as close to me as they can get. I don't think we need a heating pad because my doggies enjoy indoor life.

Default Zentek - crate mats - answers! lol.

Wow guys!

OK -- we have updated the site as the matts will be arriving, most likely, by the end of this week. The information on how they work and the technology behind them can be found here:

Mighty Mite Dog Gear - Dog Crate Pads

There are no gels in this product. However, I wouldn't recommend letting a dog chew up his blankets or beds because anything made of fabric and cotton does present a choking problem and you dont' want threads and the like inside a dog's gut either (a reason why I don't give my dogs rope bones for that matter), but this mat will be no more dangerous in that regard than any other and it is made with a ripstop linning.

We are starting with the smalls and mediums (smalls are actually big enough for 200 or even 300 crates- so they are not that small. However because these are mats, they can be folded to fit smaller dimensions). We will be stocking all the color combinations you see in the photo on our website - so you'll have a nice selection to choose from! Grey/Red, Purple/Red, Khaki/Red, Khaki/Brown.

The prices and sizes so far, is as follows:

Small (18x24) 29.95
Medium (20x30) 39.95

Most agility BCs will be fine with a medium. While I wont have larges to start out, the large is 23x36 and would be 49.95. i could special order that for you if you wanted.

As far as shipping goes, I wont know for sure until they are here and I experiment with different packaging options, but keep in mind that they are not heavy so it's not going to a whole lot. To give you an idea of my shipping charges, for those things i do not drop ship (which are only the very heavy items like the carts and tents I sell), I use USPS. Many of the items I sell fit into a medium flat rate box. With packging - that is only $10.45 per box to ship. REALLY conservatively speaking, I'll say $15 to ship - but that is probably well above what it will actually cost. I have large packagining envelopes that I ship dog packs in - anywhere in the U.S. - shipping with those only goes for $5.45. Hope that alieves any concern about shipping costs on this product.

Thanks so much for all the interest. I am very excited about the product line myself! :
