Default Frisbee dog. To breed or not to breed?

i need help, i have a female 19 month old labrador retriever. it is my first time to train dog to play frisbee. she is now on her 3rd day of heat cycle. is it okay to breed a sporting dog? because i am thinking that when i breed her, after she will deliver her pups her body will not be in a good shape anymore.

Why are you thinking of breeding her? Is she from championship lines? If you don't have a compelling reason to breed her the kindest thing would be to have her spayed.

If your dog isn't an outstanding example of it's breed then it really shouldn't be bred and should probably be fixed. 2/3 of all dogs bred end up in shelters. 1/3 of them gets euthanized. In some shelters though, up to 60% of the dogs that get brought in get euthanized. I'm sure you are a goodhearted person and you don't want to contribute to that. The best way to ensure that you don't is to get your pooch fixed.
