Nice to meet you. I have three JRTs. Two spayed females, Zelda & Zerniece and one neutered male, Zephyr. I am fairly new to the sport of Flyball, but am totally addicted! I also do Agility and Obedience with my Jacks as well.
Am I understanding right that you are looking to purchase a bitch? Are you not interested in JRTCA? Does she need to be of breedable age right now, or would you consider a puppy?

my older JRT is a retired flyball dog. He retired last May after he subluxated his carple joint on the box. he LOVED flyball. My mixed breed still plays the game occasionally, but we are pretty much into agility now. My younger JRT had luxated latella surgery at a very young age, so flyball may not be in the cards for him, but he is enjoying agility and competing at the JRTCA trials.

Yes, please do explain flyball! I have a JRT named Phoebe and I suspect she would LOVE the game. Then again, she loves any game involving running and jumping and being chased around. | |

Flyball is a 4 dog relay sport, where they run down over 4 hurdles, get a ball out of a box and run back, all the while racing a dog in an other lane. The smallest dog sets the height of the jumps.

check out flyball.org. It's the official site of flyball. Out of all the agility competitions, this is by far my favorite.
