 Dog house training tips
1. Have a lot of patience and make sure that you are consistent when house training your puppy. Even if your puppy really wants to obey you, it might be impossible for it to do so. It might for instance have misunderstood your instructions, or you might give different instructions at different times. It is very important to be consistent during house training, since a puppy hardly can understand that it is allowed to urinate indoors when you have a headache but will be scolded for doing the same thing a few hours later.
2. Read a lot about puppy and dog behavior and development. This way, you will gain a better understanding for your dog and realize what you can expect of it. You will for instance learn that puppies can not fully control their bowels until they are a few months old. Even a very obedient and properly trained puppy can therefore have accidents indoor during its first few months.
