Hello,

I am a Major animal Lover. I own both a Boxer and Pug and have owned dogs all my life. I want to start a career with Dog Training or just something to do with dogs. Does anyone have any suggestion's as to how to go about doing that, or the best way to start out?

I am working towards becoming a dog trainer as well. I'm a student at Cynology College and at Animal Behavior College. I've read and continue to read lots of books and I've recently begun assisting classes with a local trainer. Hoping to attend some seminars soon too.

Here is some information for you -

* Read as many books as you can get your hands on
(I can recommend some books if you're interested)
* Volunteer at your local shelter
* Find a trainer to apprentice with
* Attend lots of seminars
* Take your own dogs through various classes
