 Potty training an 11 month, adopted cockapoo
We just adopted a female cockapoo 3 weeks ago, who apparently was not house broken. She sleeps in a crate at night and was keeping that dry for about 5 days but peed in it early this morning. When we have to leave for a few hours, she is gated in our small laundry/bath room and she has kept that room clean. When we are home she has had access to 3 rooms but recently has been having accidents in various places so we have limited her to one room. To make matters worse she went into heat 1 1/2 weeks ago (which was 2 days before her appointment to be spayed).
She is on a schedule to walk 3-4 times a day and eliminates on those walks. In all, we probably take her outside 5-6 times a day. We are feeling like we may need to start over and would appreciate any advice.
