a lot of praise and treats. Dogs only want to please you. so the more time you spend with them the more they will learn. be consistant.

There are sites on the internet to help with training, but I suggest seeking out a professional. Inexperienced dog owners, attempting to train their dog can end badly [although it depends on what you're trying to teach your dog].I still strongly suggest finding a professional dog trainer. And remember, hitting a dog is never the answer [not that I'm saying you'd hit your dog, but my uncle hits his new puppy when he tries to train it and gets frustrated. Now the puppy is frightened to death of people]. Hitting your dog only creates fear and fearful dogs can result in damage to both the owner and dog.

First of all you have to train the dog one on one no interruptions or distractions from others you can begin to train dogs at a very young age (puppy hood) have treats handyIf you want the dog to sit gently place him /her on the floor and get the dogs attention and use commands like "Sit and Stay" do not yell or scream but use a firm tone If the dog does not sit on the first command walk up and gently pat his/her rear down and give good phrase"That's a good sit" Work with your dog up to three weeks using treats your dog will eventually respond to your command do only one command at a time then gradually work it to where you dog can lay down roll over etc It just take time and give you dog a lot love and he will return the same amount of love 100%
