Training should start the day the dog is brought home. It's important that you establish the dominant role early or you'll have nothing but problems, and with a larger dog like a boxer, the problems can result in the animal being put down!

of course, pups learn at a very young age. just make sure that you treat them and praise them for every correct trick they learn. if they dont listen do not punish them!! it will scare them and make them scurry away from you. trust your pup and make sure that it is given good attention, a good master will be rewarded with a good dog.good luck

On all breeds they should be learning basic training at atleast 4 months. Thats when they learn to keep the training in there brain. Keep the taining short tho bc like toddlers they have short attention span. so i leave it about 20 minutes 30minutes tops good luck to u
