We will soon have our chihuahua and because, of its size and young age going down stairs will not be an option for now. The exit of my portion of the home is a porch 1 story up with a staircase to the yard. So I will have to carry the puppy down everytime it has to go. Thats not an issue for now but will it be able to use the "average" sized stairs ever by its self. When its of size to navigate the stairs by itself will I have to retrain the puppy to go outside. Has anyone ever had this issue.
