If she is a puppy, you should take her outside every 2 hrs. or after playing or after eating and she'll sniff around and then pee/poop. As soon as she does, give her lots of praises in a tiny-high pitched voice "pee-pee, good girl." Pat her on the head or gently scratch her cheek and ears as you praise her. Do this every time she does this so she'll know that's where it is appropriate to pee or poop.

Be patient, give her lots of love and stick to a routine.

As soon as you see him have a drink or eat put him in the garden.Praise him up when you see him wee.Keep the house doors shut and out of bounds apart from one room.Put down newspaper. You could also try a playpen .

take him out more. Have him go on a news paper, then slowly move the paper closer to the door until it is outside.

You can by a toilet mat or spray from pets shops, it has a smell in it which the dogs know to go to the toilet on the mat, place it near the back door, and when the dog gets used to it, put it outside so the dog then knows to go outside to the toilet. This is what we used when we used to have a dog, to get him toilet trained.Good Luck with the toilet training.

You have taken your brotherly duties to another level by doing this!Rolled-up newspaper gently across the nose straight away, so the dog knows why you are unhappy...and drag the little mutt to the door the MINUTE he starts looking like he needs to go in future. Dogs are smart and aren't looking to piss you off. He will soon get the message. Praise him after he goes in the right place. Good Luck!

Every two hours take the dog out. Even if he doesn't do anything, praise him and give him a treat. This just gives him the oppertunity to go, even if he doesn't have to.

this is a lot easier if the dog is a puppy... whenever it poops you grab it and take to the crime scene, while hitting him with a rolled paper yell: "NO!!!" (that way the dog will know it did something wrong) and then take it out or wherever you want it to poop...after a couple of days it'll start working....Another thing you can do if you have carpet is salt some black pepper ground around the carpet area, that way it'll refuse to pee or poop because of it's smell...sorry i cant be more helpful than this, and i apologize if anyone find my methods rude (i know its a little bit for the dog =S... )

What do you mean toilet trained? You want him to pee in the toilet bowl or on the toilet floor?LOLWell, whenever he pees or poo some other place, lock him in the toilet. Do it everytime he pees everywhere. And then he'll soon realise where to pee. Remember to put him on a newspaper- You would want him to pee on the newspaper instead of the floor, right? When you think he's ready, open the door and check for urine or poo, and then praise him or give him a treat. My mum does that everytime. First there was an untamed dog in the house, peeing everywhere, but when she locked him in a room everytime she thinks that he needs to pee, he pees in there and never pee elsewhere.
