Some of this I learned from Cesar Milan, (the dog whisperer) the stealing dog is probably the dominate "alpha" dog, otherwise the victim would not allow that to happen. You need to insert yourself as the alpha dog. 1. run your hands through the dry dog food...your scent on it will remind both dogs, who provides the meal. 2. feed by hand...another way to establish your dominance. The stay with them during the meal. when you dog trys to steal. give a quick, gruff "no" (or bark) and use your fingers like teeth to gently "bite" the neck, ear or snout of the dog. The dog will understand, because this is the way an alpha dog (that's you) should behave.

I had the same problem first GET TWO BOWLS!!!!!!!!!if they live inside put one in one room and the other in another. If they live outside bring one in let it eat inside and not let it out til the other finishes. alternate if you do this because the other may feel unloved.

to stop your dog from jumping you can do two things. 1. you can punish him by either forcing him back down to the ground or catch his front paws and back him into a corner everytime he jumps. 2. sometime the best punishment is simply ignoring him until he calms down. the only problem with this is that you must make every person who comes in contact with him ignore him, that means no verbal or physical recognition of the dog. as far as the food stealing, one dog thinks he is dominant and the other has accepted that. get 2 bowls and touch and be around both dogs while they eat until they get used to you and realize you are dominant. you might try forcing the food stealer to watch the other one eat. remember the dominant dog eats first in the pack

To train a dog not to jump up on people, get a friend to help you and have some treats to do the training. Put your dog on its leash and have him sit as you answer the door. have your friend knock on the front door, when you open it if you dog gets excited and proceeds to jump up on your friend, have your friend turn away from him giving him no attention (most important) and leave back out the door and sternly tell your dog, No, down. Wait a few minutes and try again.
Continue to do this until you dog understand what it is he is supposed to do. When he sits and does not jump up, praise him and reward the treat and have the company kneel down and praise him.
Do this a few times a week and continue til he is fully trained.

I like Cesar Millan's way of training your dog. You have to establish pack leader. All that ushoveit said, is the right way. As far as the jumping, brig up your knee to his chest and he will get the idea, b/c it isn't fun and you are establishing again, pack leader. Curling your had in a cup shape, your nails will be like the teeth of the pack leader disaplining his pack. It doesn't hurt, but they sure get the idea. You should also at the same time, like ushoveit said, growl, bark or make a loud noise to reinforce your actions.
Good luck
