We bought a puppy today he only weighs 2 lbs he was being paper trained and I want to litter box train it but my husband thinks its a bad idea. He says that if the dog thinks its okay to go in a litter box in the house its more likely to have accidents in the house. He thinks the only place it should go potty is outside? If anyone has had a problem with a litter box trained dog also having accidents in the house or If anyone can please help me with this dilemma I would appreciate it. Thanks

If this was true all cats would be making all over the house. I don't think it's a bad idea to litter box train it but it is a little strange. All dogs I have owned in the past go outside.
