Default My dog has very spotty house-training and has aggression problems; how can I

solve them (serious problem)?? My dog bites and growls at small children that he doesn't know (the only people that count as 'knowing' are petsitters, my family and people with dogs who visit us). He also pees everywhere. He's pretty clever about it, peeing after going to a secluded area. We usually don't find out until the dark stains appear later. He's supposed to be 'outdoor trained' but when we let him out he pees only occasionally. Later after he comes in he sometimes pees again indoors. We never catch him at it. The problem is that small children come to our house every day and that 'stains' are appearing in a lot of places around the house. Can anyone offer advice or help about getting him potty trained and less aggressive? We have moved 3 times in the past 2 years and he's probably gotten a little confused about the potty issue.Facts:Neutered, Age 2 yearsAny info is helpful, but the most informative answerer will receive the best answer.Oh, also, I know about SitStayFetch, but I'm not sure if it works. I would prefer it if someone who actually used it recommended it to me. Thanks, though

Not sure about the potty training but the aggression part I have just been through myself. When strange people / children come to your home make sure the dog id on a leash, when he growls, do not speak to him, do not say his name. just take him outside. Leave him there for a couple of minutes then bring him back in. Repeat the process. I would imagine he is either trying to protect you or just gain some attention and doesnt understand it is not acceptable. When he does the right thing, be sure to give lots of praise and pats and even a small treat. By not speaking to him, he is gaining no attention and he will work out quick enough that the way to get pats, attention etc is to be good when people visit. I have just been through similar with my new maltese and it only took a few strangers to visit before he worked it out. I hope this helps.
