Do you have any suggestion for house training a dachsund dog?

U might want to make sure that he doesn't go to the bathroom in the house. If he goes in the house, scold him. If he waits by the door , give him a treat, and walk him outside. Give him another treat for going outside. He'll get used to this, and wont go to the bathroom in the house.

If the dog does not obbey thıs stand over hım and let hım get scared*Well ıf ur dogs a puppy ıt wıll be hard because puppies have a hard tıme wıth there uranel muscles so you mıght have to go through ıt*Make sure that u have a rutıne of when ur dog goes out so he knows what tıme he should keep ıt ın*And also make sure ur dog understands the punıshment of ppeeıng ınsıde HOPE THIS HELPS =)

my mother in law has 3 of them! they are generally good, but I have to say, she hasnt "trained" them. do you watch the Dog Whisperer on National Geographic? its a great show for dog lovers who understand that loving their pooches doesnt mean they should be treated like people. its amazing how he trains even old poorly behaved dogs.

Same with any other dog...but I think that maybe they can be litter trained..check on a specialized website!

We crate trained all of our dogs. That simply means you keep them in a dog crate (the same size they are) and take them out to do their duty on a regular schedule. Reward them when they pee or poop outside and then back in the crate. It's important you keep the crate the same size they are as they grow because they won't do their duty where they are laying. We've had our dogs housebroken in 4-8 weeks with this method. Of course you are going to take them out to play with them and feed them but back in the cage after this is done. hello i know the fast way of house training you go and get a smell metel coffie can and put 5 pennies in it and when they start try to go to the bathroom in the house then you shake it then you put them out side the pennies hurt there ears and they will start going out side to use the bathroom
