Default Our dog "going" inside at night

Hi,

Am hoping someone can help me out with this problem. Our three year old Pomeranian has recently started going potty indoors at night. He has been trained for over 2 1/2 years and we never had this problem until a couple of months ago. Almost every morning I wake up to find he's had a bowel movement during the night. I've tried changing his evening feeding time to earlier in the day and that hasn't helped (thought I could get him on a new schedule). Am at my wits end. He waits until the morning to pee, it's just #2 he's having a problem with. Any suggestions? I can't crate him at night, as we never used that method to train him and I think he'd freak out.
Thanks for any suggestions or input!

Only feed him in the morning everyday. He will have his BM during the day. Also if he poops in the house, show it to him and then scold him and tell him sharply no! and the carry the same poop outside and put the BM where he should do his business and let him see it and praise him and say good boy..Continue to take him to that spot a few hours after AM feeding..Reward him with treats or praise for doing his business. He will be trained if you continue to do this.
