 How do you potty-train an adult dog?
We have a male boxer who was neutered when he was four months old. Heis now three 1/2 years old. He is awful about piddling (and will even poop) in the house. He does it even after he has been let outside. Example: yesterday the kids and I were outside and we let Toby out to go to the bathroom. When we came back inside 1 1/2 hours later he had piddled all over the house. When we enter the house he runs because he knows he has done wrong. He will even get into the trash on occassions. We think it is behavourial as I have read that boxers can be but HOW to you break them from toileting in the house? We are moving into a NEW place soon and do not want to take the risk of ruining the floors. He is part of the family but we are disgusted with his bad habits. Please HELP!
