Default Please answer if you know anything about training dogs?

I have an eleven month old rottie who loves to bark, which isn't with the breed characteristics. i have tried more exercise, a muzzle, and a shock collar, nothing works to get her to calm down. I have recently been told that there is a certain muzzle i could get that they can't bark with. does anyone know what muzzle this may be. i don't need it forever, just for training purposes. also do you know where i may find one. thanks a million. my neighbors thank you also

When is she barking?? all the time, or when she is alone?

I wouldn't use shock collars or muzzles. And I'd look up things like clicker training.

I have had barking issues in the past and have put lemon juice in a spray bottle and sprayed the dog when it barks. Lemon juice is very sour and dogs strongly dislike the taste (it also won't hurt them). It doesn't take long for the barking to end.

Have you tried the tap and train method.? When teaching your dog make her focus completely on you with eye to eye contact .Do not shout ,she will think you are barking and try to out - do you in the volume department.Step 1. Command her to sit, if she persists ,repeat the command, then tap her on the Head.2. If she is still barking,- command ,say NO, SIT, tap on the head ,this indicates that you are in control, then pat her on the back to show your approval of her silence ,then give her a treat.Repeat as and when necessary.
