I can speak only for my location, and yes. anywhere you are spending one on one quality time with your pet is a great place and at PetSmart you have a trained professional giving tips and answering questions

I would say yes. We used PetSmart and found it worked well. I would agree with meeting the trainer first, make sure there is a connection between you, the trainer, and your dog.
