My Vet says to feed my dog only twice a day like every 12 hours so I try to feed her in the mornings before my children go to school and in the evenings at our dinner time. Problem is she want eat until the afternoon. How do I get her to eat in the mornings?The Vet says that it's not good to leave the food out all day.The problem with her eating so late in the afternoon is that is too close to dinner. When she eats late in the afternoon then at dinner and goes for a walk she use it outside but finishes it in the basement.

Put the food on her bowl in the mornings for a little while and then put it away, dont leave it there for her all day. Then put it back on the floor in the afternoon for a while, and put it away later. Dont give her any of your own food because then she wont eat hers. If she doesn't eat her food, dont worry about it, she wont starve. Next time you put her food back down, she'll eat it.
