Default how do i train my dogs?

i want to train my dogs to sit, stay, jump, and roll over but it doesn't really work when i try. but when i hold a bag of food over their head they sniff it and sits down then i would praise them but when i put the bag up they're bad again they love to follow me and get between my legs. i want to know how to get my dogs to sit, stay, roll over, and jump when i say it people told me to reward them and praise them when they do it and don't care if they don't. i would spend all da time in the world just doing it. will people tell me how to do it better cause i really need to stop both of them from going in the road when i let them out from my backyard i just let them roam free but i always keep a eye on them while playing basketball in the front but im scared that the lilttle one might follow the big one and get hit by a vehicle thats wat i mostly feared of my dogs that and them getting stolen i want to know where to crop my dog's ears they look cool like that well please answer my questions

Start with basic obeidence classes then you can move on to middle obedience & advance where your dog will learn some extra tricksHave Fun & Have Patience

An obedience trial will help. From my experiences with dogs I have learned that some positions are harder for a certain dog to attain than others (i.e. dachsunds are really good at begging because of their lng bodies). It all depends on what the tricks are and what kind of dog they are. If you want to still train them at home make sure that you do not reward or punish them greatly for their accomplishments, you should be somewhere in the middle.
