Default How do you train a dog to not be jealous of other dogs around her owner?

My golden retreiver will not allow other dogs to come near me (except my other golden) in the dog park and outside. I can not even go up to them anymore! I try time outs, but it is very hard to get her attention and the other dogs' owners freak out thinking that she will hurt their dog. Any ideas?

give the other dogs attention if you go up to them but make sure your dog gets just a little more or special attention like maybe a treat right before you go up to the others. but dont punish her unless she does something bad like growling or barking at others.

This is actually a difficult, but simple problem. I use to deal with this issue with my German Shepherd, and then a friend showed me how to do it. Put your dog in a down stay, and move to the other dog, make sure you stay between the 2, and it shouldn't be a great distance, no more than maybe 4-6 feet between you and your dog in the down stay. Once you have petted the other dog for a few minutes, return to your dog and pet and praise him for being good. Its easier to deminstrate than to explain here.
