Use wee wee pads if they stay in alto alone, it has the urinee smell on them and they will use them and you can not smell the urin. If you are going to train for the outdoors feed Waite 30 min take out do not leave water or food down until they are broke and can tell you by barking they need to go out

The best way to potty train a dog is when they go inside to show them it and scold them...but when they go outside reward them with treats and praise (you cant just give them treats, praise is even more important!)

take them out often at firsteach time they use the bathroom outside give them a treat and praise themif they have accidents in the house then take their nose then rub it in, say "NO!" accompanied by a firm spanking (dont worry they can handle it)Stay consistent, do not let accidents slide treat them all the same.Basically praise the behavior you want and punish the behavior you do not

Take your puppy outside and say, "Go potty". Make sure you praise and reward the puppy as soon as he or she goes. If you wait until they come in the house, they will think they are getting a treat just for coming in the house. Dogs have bad short term memory but good long term memory. Be patient! Don't ever rub the puppy's nose in the mess, though some people still believe this is the right way to do things... NEVER hit dogs. You must scold and say "No!" while they are in the act. If you scold after they have already pooped or peed inside, they won't get it. Please remember that dogs are different from humans. It makes me so sad to see that people don't know how to treat dogs. If you learn as much as you can from trustworthy resources, you and your dog will be much happier. Good luck!

Easiest way i found with all the dogs Ive had was when they were pups keep an eye on them and when they start sniffing around lookin for a spot to go just take them outside and praise them when they do there business. This approach has always worked for me and usually only takes a few weeks to achieve. Of course there will be occasional accidents then just show them what they've done and reinforce on them that its naughty to do it inside. I never smack or belt my pups. Ifind that stern words and pointing my finger at them soon gets the message across
