 Toy Poodle Potty Training
I have a toy poodle, Kingston. He is now four months old. We do not crate him. We both work full time jobs so he is home alone 8 hours a day M-F. We leave him in the kitchen with water, toys, and his potty pads. He does pretty good in the kitchen. In the morning we feed him & take him out to potty, I try to come home on lunch to take him out again, and when we return from work we take him out feed again, and at least once before bed we take him out again.
He seems to know his schedule and does pretty well. But this past week he has peed on the carpet twice. And in the kitchen he has peed on the floor instead of the pad a few times.
Toy poodles are suppose to be among the easiest dogs to train. Does anyone have any suggestions? |
