Default Training Ex-breeding standard poodle HELP

i rescued a three year old ex-breeding poodle 10 months ago, and although she has come on leaps and bounds in that time, i feel i would like to take her to obedience classes, i have owned standard poodles before with great success but this is my first rescue dog, i am worried that if i reprimand her too much i will shatter her new found confidence (and naughtiness) when i first got her she had never been on a lead, not been taught a single comand, and had never even met a woman before she wouldnt even look at me, she is lead trained now and comes back when called but i hope to eventually be able to take her to work with me on a farm for which she needs some level of obedience so that i can trust her around animals, machinary etc she also needs to be more confident around strangers, any advice would be gratefully recieved.

obedience classes are a great confidence builder & help with bonding - I'd do it.

check with others, your local shelter, you vet & groomer for recommendations on a trainer - then ask them why.

always go & watch before signing up. see how they relate to the dog & the owners.
