i recently got a siberian husky named gander froma co-worker. he came with a large kennel/cage that we keep him in while at work...we also just moved into a new house..the old house we had room to put the kennel right in the dining room. the new house its in the cellar. at the old house he would go in willingly and when we got home he would be happy to get out of the kennel...in the ne whouse where the kennel is in the cellar....he really hates it! 5 minutes after he is in the kennel he goes crazy...i had a garden house on a hook next to the kennel that somehow he got a hold of and its ruined...we had a blanket in his kennel that he tore up...i just dont understand what happened?? we lived here for 2 months now and i had hoped he would be used to it by now but i dont htink he is? is there any way i can get him to be more calm while in his cage and keep it in the cellar?? ive tried putting toys in his kennel but he wants nothing to do with them...
also, he likes to dig holes!!LOL
deep ones!! i was wondering if there are any tricks to keep him form digging holes instead of standing outside watching him the whole time making sure he wont..
thanks for the help and happy holidays!!
BTW:
here is the pic of him....
