I'm brand new here, so hello everyone! I adopted a beautiful 8 year old Newfoundland/lab mix boy, Samson, to be a companion to my 6 year old yellow lab mix, Honey 2 weeks ago. They are both great dogs. Samson is very playful and wants to play with Honey so badly. She doesn't seem to get it. She won't play with him and growls when he tries to play. How do I get them to the point where they can play together? How do I show Honey that he wants to play with her?

the growling was because you just recently introduced Samson to Honey.... how about do some activities that they will enjoy together... like walking outside...
