Default puppy peeing & disobedient

My new puppy is about 10 months old - she is a Pomeranian-Bichon & has been wonderful since we got her from a foster-home 2 weeks ago. Now, she
seems to be getting too "comfortable" in our house. She seemed so well behaved at first. She knew her name & would come when called, sit and/or whine at the door to go out. Now, suddenly, she pees in the house within 1/2 hour of just going outside, she will just run off if she sees kids across the street, jumps up on laps at the dining table, won't go in the kennel unless i put her in it - even with a treat! We work full time, so she is crated from 8am-3:30pm 5 days/wk - but before work & after she gets a ton of attention & goes for walks. I try to be stern, using one word commands, "no", "down", "kennel" - what seemed to work when we first got her is no longer effective... HELP!

Jen,

You may want to consider taking her to an obedience class. It sounds to me that she needs some direction and discipline to keep her on the right track. I've done this with my dogs, and it really helps. You have to make sure that everyone is on the same sheet of music with her training (your husband, children). From what I’ve learned, dogs learn more from hand commands than verbal commands. This works with my dogs. Do some research, maybe you can find some dog training books to help you out with these commands…(down, stay, sit, heal, etc.).

Hope this helps you.

I think proper training and discipline must give to your dog...
So that it will behave properly...
This might help you but it always depend on your approach...
