Unhappy Dirty boy!

I have the most mild temperd, fun loving staff you could ever wish to meet who is great with kids, there is just 1 problem (a BIG problem) we cant get him to stop peeing and pooing in the kitchen at night.
He gets regular long walks (usally twice daily), the back door is always open so he can come and go all day, so its not like he has to hang on all day, weve tried removing his water at night, changing his meal times and caging, but the caging we could`nt keep up because he howled the house down and weve got a baby girl to so that failed.
heres the unusual part we can go out the house for any length of time and come back and the kichen is clean!
please cant somebody help hes driving me and my wife spare with it.
Regards Andy

I would try moving his meal time to breakfast only...and make sure that you take him outside to go to the bathroom just before you and your wife go to bed for the night...and you may want to try an enzyme cleaner when you clean up his messes. Do not use any cleaner that has ammonia in it, as to a dog, the ammonia smells like urine, so he may think it's ok to go there because he can smell where he has gone before. Good luck!
