Don't you have plans to fix her? Maybe some health issue making her not to hold longer her pee... When it is due to excitement, you need to train on ignoring him everytime someone comes.

Your answer to the peeing problem is remedial housetraining. Try not to over think things. You do not need to understand the 'whys' if you know how to approach it. And since this is a change in behavior, I would agree, a vet check may be in order. It would be relief to me that this was just a housetraining issue, and not a plumbing problem. So I would advise to remove all doubt and have a vet look her over.

I would also recommend crating your dog and giving her a doggie pacifier (stuffed, frozen Kong), when guests arrive. There's no point in rehearsing the behavior if you're not actively training an alternative greeting, and when you can easily manage the problem with a crate.

Good luck!

aww dear that does seem unusual, especially in a dog that age !

Have you spoken to your vet, see if it is for attention of if there may be a medical reason for it ?

Sorry I'm not much help, but hope you sort it out soon, for your sake and for the poor little doggies sake !
