I'm not sure if this will work or if anybody else will agree w/me but if they were mine I would put the new pup in a crate until he learns his manners. When I brought home a new pup---It was the other way around--the older dog was all over the pup---not mean--wanted to play and he was too rough--the pup would try to get away frm him and since I worked all day I couldn't leave them like that so I put the new puppy in a crate--left gate open (I don't like "caging" a dog up at all but---?) and situated the cage so the bigger dog couldn't get in and the new pup could do what ever it wanted-in or out. In your case--I would take new pup out at times and if he started after her I'd put him right back in and keep trying until hopefully he got the message. I sure wouldn't want him to do damage to her eyes!! And maybe she would also go up to the cage and wouldn't it be great if the pup got use to her that way and they became friends!

When he is getting to rough or too close to her eyes, take him by the scruff of the neck, give a SLIGHT shake, and tell him to "stop it". The bitch should be doing this herself but since she isn't, you as the parent/lead dog need to do it. This is how adult pack members correct puppies --it isn't to hurt them just to say "hey, stop it".

Rough play is quite natural, even for older Dogs. If it is happening all the time maybe a bit more walking is in order to burn off more energy. Just make sure not to walk to long at any one time if the puppy is very young.

Try to interrupt them when someone is getting aggressive, like dropping a can or spraying to the more aggressive one with water. Do they are fixed? If not, do you have plans?
