It sound like she doing it out of excitement or submission. Very common in puppies and most will grow out of it. In the meantime try not to get her excited. When she's in your lap try not to make eye contact and ignore her, or, if this is happening only while she's in your lap, don't let her onto your lap. You might also want to get her checked out by a vet to rule out and medical condition such as an infection.

I agree with Mechi, its possible happening through excitement. Try to keep you dog calm and the problem may go away by itself. Its most likely a temporary thing.

try having more play time outside. I know when I go shopping and come back I need to let gizzy out to see me or she will tinkle by the door. then she gets the love and get the excitement out of the way. she is addicted to me. I was gone once and she stayed with my hubby and his brother in law and when he called me. she tried climbing through the phone. and whined until I got back. some dogs just love their owners.

When I had a minipin, he also peed on me. Anyway it was the first and last time. Just give him more exercise and when he is in your lap, avoid getting him too excited.

some of your problems are a direct result of the mix. When mixing dogs of different sizes. The "Min Pin" or "Mini Pin" is a term generally reserved for the undersized or poorly bred facsimiles of the actual breed. These are dogs in the 3 to 6 or 7lbs range that are not to standard. People assume that Chihuahua's and Miniature Pinschers are about the same size when in fact they are not. The Miniature Pinscher should be in the area of 10 to 12.5 inches and 9 to 11 or 12lbs. This puts the dog nearly twice the size of a Chihuahua. The undersized versions are generally prone to nervousness and being what some refer to as "yappy". True Miniature Pinscher are neither. In the case you describe it is a case of just being overly excited and nervous at the same time therefore is not able to control itself in the moment. The solution to this has been mentioned by the prior posters.
These are purebred Miniature Pinschers and stand between 11 and 12.5 inches tall. All have natural ears including the blue who's ears are standing. The first is a pic of the European 7 times champion. Too many assume the little petite ones are indicative of what the breed should look like when in fact they forget that this is a Terrier not a toy breed. Just because it is shown in the category does not make it a toy. Only in the US, Canada, UK and a few other places is the breed listed in the toy category but in Europe and Germany the land of origin, it competes against Schnauzers and German Pinschers.

Well maybe dont get rid of her just yet...Try feeding her at like 7am for breakfest, then at like noon time for lunch, and then 6pm for dinner and then she will have to go after she eats, so everytime you feed her take her out maybe 30mins after to let her relieve herself and try doing that. You just might be letting her eat all the time and she thinks when she cant go out that she can go on you. So just try to feed her at certain times...Please tell me how that goes for you. Like the other people said, She might just get too excited

so you are taking a 6 month old puppy out 3 times a day when with this breed, they need to go out every couple hours especially at that age. She is doing the best she can to hold it but needs to be let free in a secure yard to just stay and go and have access to a way out all the time. Small breeds have small bladders and therefore it is difficult to expect the pup to go as little as only 3 times a day. A puppy does not need to be jumping and acting out in order to be overly happy. She is excited just being on your lap. Puppy piddle is what this is and you need to just keep her out longer and a lot more often.

I fully agree with Yogi. I don't know of a pup yet, big or small, that only goes out 3 times a day. Dogs need fresh water available to them. cutting them off at 4 pm seems a little to early to me.
nobody on this board has said "puppies are easy" puppies are alot of work, but well worth every minute of it if trained and if the owner has the patience to work and understand the pup.
