The Animal Rescue Foundation (ARF) located in Beacon NY is teaming up with local trainer Christine Peterson to offer Clicker Training workshops for Kids in August '05. If your know of anyone between the ages of 8-16, let them know about about the workshops where they can learn about dog behavior, how to use a clicker, how dogs learn, and practice lots of new tricks and obedience commands positively and humanely. Friendly demo dog will be utilized, and classes limited to 6 students. Ages 8-12 will be Sun. Aug. 7, 1-4pm. Ages 12 (w/experience)-16 will be Sun. Aug.21, 1-4pm. Pre-registration is required, class size limited to 6 students for individualized attention. $35 donation to ARF, a no-kill, non-profit, all volunteer shelter. Materials & clicker included.
