Default Help with a 10 month beagle going potty in house

I need help!! We rescued a female beagle about 9 months old a month and a half ago. I can't seem to house break her. She is fine in her crate but when ever she is out of it she goes in the house. I can have her outside for hours, I will see her go and praise her and she will still come in the house and as soon as she can, she goes. She is quick and sneaky too. Especially if she gets a chance to get in my room on my bed. When we got her we already had two male cats, and a male black lab. They all play good together but I have a feeling that her behavior is some sort of dominance. She doesn't even try to tell us she needs to go out. I know she can physically hold it as she goes all night in her crate and even waits till I have had my coffee in the morning before she comes out of the crate and goes out side and then has breakfast and more out side. Do female dogs mark? I have tried numerous housebreaking techniques and I am ready to give up. Any ideas????

yes they do. I have two dachsunds and the youngest is 1 and the oldest is 7. When the youngest goes the older one potties in same spot. Try puppy pads and make sure she knows your displeasure. Mine know when they did a naughty. I live in an apartment so it is hard on me but we try to get the buggers out for walks. She is not sure where she fits in. My one year old potties on the floor even if she is looking at you until you bust her. Then she goes and hides. It will take a little time. I discovered in the pet isle at walmart a wonderful product called Pet Oxyclean. It may be in the laundry soap section. You spray on spot and it takes the icky out and better for your carpet. Try blocking her in with a childgate in a portion of a smaller area if you can. That is what we do when we are gone for the day. They do not like it but better for my floors. Good Luck.
