My Golden Ret. prefers to be outside, so she sleeps outside. But she also gets up with the early morning lark, actually the squirrel's. She starts barking at them, who are laughing back at her, at 5 or 6am. It is driving us all crazy. My other dog sleeps in our room, but this one just likes to be outside. I don't want to cage her up, and a dog outside can be a deterrent.

Personally, I wouldn't leave either of my girls outside all night.

I have since been crating her, and she now goes freely to her crate for nighttime, and she isn't yakking in the morning, so that problem worked out, now on to the others!!
