my dog goes potty on the floor, but only when i've JUST cleaned it!
I have a one year old dog who never goes potty on the floor... unles i clean it.
EVERY time i clean the livingroom floor she will go potty on it.
She makes sure noone is in the room when she does it, and when we have cought her doing it she has been really ashamed and obviously knows that she's doing something wrong.
But still she does it every time!!
Any advise?

Quit cleaning your floor. Just joking. Buy a baby gate and lock her out after you get done cleaning the floor.

Have no real advice, but if can figure out WHY she may be doing it---might lead to a solution! Sounds like she is remarking territory every time you remove her scent! Does she have a dominant kind of personality or is she the insecure type? What is her background--rescued?
How did you get her and how long ago? How old was she when you got her? Lol, maybe she doesn't like the smell of a clean (sanitized) room---Wonder if there is some kind of spray (scent) that would stop her from wanting to do this---She wouldn't like the smell but maybe something like Bitter Apple even.

She's not dominant at all, she's more insecure.
I got her from a breeder when she wes 12 weeks old, she is now just over 1 year.
At first i thought that maybe she didn't like the smell of the soap i use for the floors, so i changed brands but she still went ahead and made a mess.
Then i realized that she only does it in the livingroom, and always in the same area of the livingroom too.
But the weird thing is that that area of the livingroom is not where she stays normally, and she rarely even goes there... unless i've just cleaned the floor that is :-|

Am thinking that she (insecure) just wants to make sure her scent stays in that room. When you clean it --you must remove all of her 'smell' which prob. wasn't having her scent as much to start with since she rarely goes in that room--Maybe the other rooms she is in have a lot more of her scent and some of it still remains after you clean those rooms. This is an idea just off the top of my head---Wonder what would happen if you put a pillow-blanket-soft toy (something with a lot of her scent on it) in the very spot she makes her mess in, right after you clean that floor?!! Don't know if you would want something like that as a permanent fixture but if you try it and it works at least you will know something!! And if it does work--you could try just leaving something in there all the time in a convenient place and if that works---HOORAY!! Hey if you try it and it works---I will be very curious to know,Lol! Got my fingers crossed!

It may be the cleaning product that you're using. Some cleansers smell like urine to a dog which encourages them to pee in that spot. After you wash the floor, give it a rinse with plain old white vinegar and water. It will neutralize the smell of the cleaning fluid and that will hopefully solve the problem.

Even if she isn't dominant, she still may be trying to mark the floor. Apart from never cleaning your house again, I would go with the suggestion of trying to keep her out of the area for a certain time after you clean.
