Welcome to the forum!
Isn't it worth a shot to go to obedience school and see what happens!? Otherwise you have to give up one of the dogs. In my breeds book it states that Border Collies are highly intelligent and easily obedience trained. But harsh training can make them submissive--Hope this has nothing to do with the way Thunder acts. It also says in my book--They make wonderful pets, especially in homes with energetic children, but can be scrappy with other dogs. Fast and agile, these lively dogs have boundless energy and thrive on hard work and play. They are a delight to see streaking after a ball, or bringing straying sheep back to the fold. They also love to swim. BE AWARE: These dogs must have enough exercise---boredom leads to bad habits.
Okay after absorbing what my breeds book had to 'say'---You have a breed that was bred to herd sheep. It sounds like they are trying to herd each other! They need hard work--hard play. Need a lot of exercise to satisfy their needs--tire them out so they don't get bored and into trouble. I suggest obedience school (Remember highly intelligent and eager to please) They need a 'job' to feel like they are doing something worthwhile and to please you!) They need their minds exercised as well as their bodies. Long walks and if a place for them to run, run! Like to swim--Is there a place they can go for that?! Get them all trained to walk on the leash and take all 3 for these walks. They have to release some of that excess energy!
